Office Space Birthday Cake

Whenever I think of office birthdays, the cult classic "Office Space" comes to mind.

I picture poor Milton without his slice of cake – which is probably why I don't like being in charge of cutting cakes. It's a mathematical quandary for me to count the number of people to the amount sliced and ensure an equal distribution of cake, without leaving anyone out.



So when we celebrated my boss' birthday with this Blueberry Poppy Seed Cake with blueberry glaze from the Village Bakery, I was glad that there was plenty left over for a second helping of this delicious goodness.

And this Valentine's Day, we sang for two birthdays over a lunch buffet and freshly baked cranberry oatmeal cookies during a company retreat.

Gotta love a workplace that knows how to celebrate with good food!
