I came home and MS surprised me with a gift wrapped in Santa Claus paper.
"But Christmas was two months ago," I said with one eyebrow up.
He replied that he didn't have any other wrapping paper. (He purchased the Kris Kringle roll during his last post-holiday 99-cent store shopping spree.)
Men. Gotta love them!
A little while back, we had dinner at one of our usual haunts on Sawtelle, aka - Little Osaka, as we have learned. And when we're on Sawtelle, we typically check in at Blackmarket LA to see the latest cool finds, Giant Robot to view the rotating art exhibits, Nijiya Market for anything that's needed in our refrigerator and Yogurtland for a cool sweet treat.
I have a giant plush panda, tiny plush pandas, a jeweled panda, a panda teacup and much more, and am always on the lookout for other cute pandas to add to my collection.
And Blackmarket has its fair share of panda gear, including the above panda mug + panda spoon set. I told MS how much I loved it, but didn't purchase it because of the $28 price tag. I couldn't justify spending so much for a coffee cup.
So when MS surprised me with this gift, I was beside myself! I now use it for my daily cup of coffee at work and love being reminded how lucky I am to have the best husband ever!

I don't know if he is so awesome bc he never leaves space for me on the bed and he doesnt always give me fancy feast!
