Daphne and Jonathan's Summer Wedding in Sonoma

Sonoma Wedding

MS and I had the privilege of being a part of the intimate hilltop wedding in Sonoma where one of my dearest friends said "I do" to the love of her life.

My eyes welled as the couple shared their written vows. MS squeezed my hand as if to tell me, "I love you," while handing me a towelette in the other. It was so touching and romantic, and a perfect ceremony with a beautiful backdrop of the sun filled Sonoma Valley.

Here are just a few snapshots from the wedding.

Daphne and Jonathan's Menu Card
The menu card I designed and created.

Grilled Prawns
First course: Perfectly grilled prawns with pepper remoulade.

Little Sylvie
Niece of the Bride, little Sylvie with Mom's pashmina.

Daphne and Jonathan
The Happy Bride and Groom during their first dance.

It was truly a weekend full of love... love for each other, love for their families and friends, and a shared love of food.

If I would have known that you were such a great menu maker, I would have consulted you for my wedding! I love that MS knew what to do at that perfect moment. Congrats to your friend for such a beautiful wedding and having a friend like you.

I have lots of catching up to do on BOLA posts!

Hey PE! It's been a long time! How's life in New Orleans treating you?

Aww... well, if ever you need a menu card or anything else for that matter, just give me a holla. ;)

HUGS!!!

This is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. Is there any way you could send me some info on this place. Me and my fiancee are looking for something like this.

Thanks so much!!!

I had the same question as above about this venue for a wedding place...I'd love to know where this is in Sonoma. Thanks.

Sorry Ladies... from what my girlfriend told me - this venue doesn't do weddings typically and she was very lucky that we could rent the private house for the weekend celebrations. Good luck with wedding planning!

Really, the venue doesn't do weddings usually? That's so disappointing! I want to have mine at a place like that, it's so green and beautiful and picture perfect. I think I found a few similar places though-- type "sonoma" into
http://www.gatheringguide.com/ec/event_venues_wedding_sites.html and you can see. Good luck with all your weddings!
