If you park on campus at USC for a home football game, you're in for a rude awakening...
After cheering our team to victory a few weeks ago, we didn't get out of the parking lot for over an hour and a half - by which time, everyone in the car was hungry and grumpy.
And a hungry, grumpy Kristy can make for a very uncomfortable ride.
Luckily, I was in good company who knew of a good place that was open for dinner at 11pm - Berri's Pizza Cafe. The place was empty on Saturday night since it was too late for the dinner crowd and too early for the club crowd. We were quickly seated and served a basket of warm garlic rolls. They were gobbled up in no time.

It was cold that night so we ordered some chicken noodle soup that surprisingly turned out to be really, really good. Cooked with citrus and spinach, I drank the entire bowl and was a warm, happy Kristy.

We also ordered a 20" pizza with spinach, cheese and prosciutto. I was so full from the bread and soup that I could only eat two small slices when it came out the kitchen. Split amongst our small group of four, we had plenty of leftovers. The pizza itself wasn't as good as the soup, but for late night eats that will satisfy my midnight food cravings - Berri's is one place I'd go!

Chicken soup for the Kristy soul, eh? There's nothing like a piping hot bowl of soup on a cold night, except for... Piping hot soup and noodles! You lucky girl.

Hey Kyle! The spinach and citrus were AWESOME! I'm gonna try that next time I make myself a bowl of homemade Campbell's. ;)
Hey Chubbypanda! You got it! Noodles... such a great thing! *slurp*
You might check gophernow.com for late night dining in LA.
Hey Anon! Thanks for stopping by and the heads up on gophernow.com. There are some interesting restaurants that pop up amongst the Denny's and fast food joints in LA... I'll definitely check it out if I'm eating after hours. =)
