Porto's Delights

It's been a long few weeks at work and at the end of the day today, I received such an unexpected surprise that reminds me it's all worthwhile.

Someone whom I've worked with for the past few months came into the office to say thank you. She's an amazing young talent and it's always a pleasure to meet with her. This afternoon, she dropped in with a bag from Porto's that carried three little treats to my surprise. Each one was delicious, and I shared them with my colleagues. Although I'm not a huge coconut fan, the coconut cake with fresh orchid was beautiful and airy. The chocolate and coffee cake was rich and delicious - makes you go mmm. And my favorite of the three was the light strawberry mousse that had a layer of fruity gelatin on top.

Months worth of work = Several thousands of $$$
Three cakes from Porto's = $12-$20 (a rough guestimate)
An unexpected Thank You = Priceless
