A great place to study (or blog) with *wi-fi connection* is My epicurean partner in crime and study buddy took me here a little while ago. We got there a little after lunch and stayed until right before dinner. So if you can do the math, we were there for probably 5-6 hours straight.
Once there, we were welcomed with a plethora of choices – boba [aka bubble tea], coffees, fruit juices, and more. I finally decided upon and slurped up my lychee slushie, and opted to go without the little black pearls of tapioca and drink it straight. It was absolutely refreshing in the warm LA weather.
Named as an “Asian” cafe, you would expect the place to be Asian influenced with the décor and menu items – such as the Chinese antique looking furniture and Japanese/Korean food choices. We ordered the gyoza and spicy tuna rolls as a snack to tie us over before heading out into Westwood for dinner. The “snack” also came with miso soup with tofu – not a great dish on a hot day. Since you can’t really mess up on making gyoza or spicy tuna rolls, we were both pleasantly surprised with the food’s yum-factor and great presentation.A note of caution: the upstairs can get pretty warm, and it didn’t seem like they had any air conditioning. Instead, we propped the oscillating fan right next to us to help cool us down.

Nice coupon find and great post. The dumplings sort of look like the ones from the movie Old Boy.
Old Boy = very twisted movie! That's all I have to say. ;)
haha, I am glad you liked the music :)
