Old Hollywood at Lucy's El Adobe Cafe

Went to Lucy's El Adobe Cafe on Melrose near Larchmont in Los Angeles with MM last week. Although the Mexican food and margaritas were only so-so, the ambiance of this old Hollywood hangout made the trip worthwhile. Celebrity pictures lined the front dining area, and as we had our dinner - we noticed a couple of movie stars dining amongst us. (Recognizable faces, forgotten names). Here are a few photos I snapped that evening...

Restaurant sign off of Melrose

Entrance from the parking lot

Swanky bar/lounge out by the patio area

Notice the great signage

My dinner of green chile & cheese enchiladas w/rice & beans

Cheers! Blended strawberry margaritas

Hi

I came across your blog by accident and glad I found you, I can't wait to check out some of these places. I have to recommend a very good authentic mexican food place located in Venice. check it out they make their tortillas fresh out in the open next to all the customers. Pretty cool
